Welcome to PM SHRI Schools
 

PM SHRI (Prime Minister Schools for Rising India) in Sikkim is a flagship initiative launched under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to transform selected government schools across the State into centres of excellence that showcase holistic, equitable, inclusive, and future-ready education. While the initiative is centrally sponsored by the Government of India, its implementation in Sikkim is led by the Education Department, Government of Sikkim, ensuring that the national vision is adapted to local priorities, culture, geography, and student needs.

  • Transform selected government schools across Sikkim into model institutions with high academic performance, modern learning infrastructure, and innovative, student-centred pedagogies that reflect the aspirations of NEP 2020.
